He was born January 15, 1940 in Portland, ME to Frank and Helen (Smith) Harmon.
He graduated from Cape Elizabeth High School and the University of Southern Maine. He worked for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Maine for 34 years before retiring to Florida in 1996 where he spend most of his days on his boat enjoying bass fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Ann DiFiore Harmon; son Steve (Mary Buckley-Harmon) Harmon; daughter Johanna Harmon Palombo; and four grandchildren Leah, Sophie, and Lucy Harmon and Catherine Palombo.
Guests and friends are invited to a time of visitation on Friday August 10th from 6:30 to 8:30pm at Jones, Rich & Barnes Funeral Home, 199 Woodford St, Portland ME 04103 207-775-3763. Committal services will be private at a later date.
