Don was a loving father to his son Max and his daughter Steph. He was a cherished brother, uncle, and friend. He was a caring, honest, hardworking and skilled carpenter all his life.
Don is survived by his son Max and his wife Clarissa of Lyman and his daughter Steph and her husband Jessie of Waterboro, He is also survived by Lori Miller, his former wife and mother of his two children. His siblings Pam, Jeff, Scott, Cheryl, Donna, Sharon, Steve, Tammy and Julie. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Marjorie, and his brothers, Paul Jr and Jay. Being one of twelve children don was a beloved uncle who shared countless joyful memories with his nieces and nephews.
Don had a great passion for hunting in Lyman, ME and fishing in Sanford, ME. Not only did he love the destination as well as the driving time to and form when he could listen to his favorite songs being a big music fan, the louder the better. His children think back fondly to memories of Sunday mornings waking up to the smell of crepes & pancakes with the speakers blasting 80’s Classic rock such as Def Leppard and Queen.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday October 10th 2024 at the Lake Arrowhead Community Building, 206 Old Portland rd North Waterboro Maine 04061, from 5-8 pm. In lieu of flowers, his children request that donations be made to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention in Don’s memory.
Don will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his legacy of kindness and love will live on in our hearts.
