Daniel A. Ducharme

He was born in Lewiston, ME on September 21, 1970 a son of Maurice E. Ducharme of Freeport and Bernice F. (Filiault) Ducharme of Lyman. He grew up in Lewiston, attending local schools and graduating from Lewiston High School. After High School he attended the Galen Health Institutes and obtained an Associate’s degree in Nursing. He then went on to work as an LPN for Windmore Health and Rehab Institutes in Florida.

Daniel enjoyed tennis and skiing and was an avid Patriots, Red Sox and Bruins fan. He stayed faithful to his hometown teams even after moving to Florida.

Besides his parents he is survived by his sister Kara Monette, her husband Gregg and their children Cameron & Conner all of Berwick, ME. He also leaves his step son Daniel Thurston, whom he raised, as well as his beloved dog “Jack”. He was also the beloved brother of the late Timothy B. Ducharme, who died on June 18, 2009 and the grandson of the late Joseph & Bernadette Filiault and Albert & Alma Ducharme.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2013, at 11 a.m. at St. Martha’s Catholic Church, 985 Portland Road, Kennebunk, ME.
