Cindy Ann Gallant

She was a caring partner, mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, and friend. The daughter of Ruth and Francis Norton of Sanford, Maine. She grew up in Sanford, Maine and was a graduate of Sanford High School.

She spent her adult life living in Portland, Maine. She had an infectious laugh and beautiful spirit that could light up any room. Her kindness and love for her family was tremendous. She found joy in crafting, decorating for holidays, and baking scrumptious desserts for her family and friends including the world’s best fudge, haystacks and chocolate covered cherries. She was always family oriented, facilitating getting everyone together for special occasions. She very much loved riding on a Harley Davidson and proudly wore her leather jacket. Growing up she was an incredible ballet and tap dancer, and loved spending time at Diane’s Dance School. She loved animals, including her cat Skylar. She had a green thumb, enjoying flowers and house plants. She was very interested in jewelry, turquois being her favorite. She loved Lobsters and a Captain’s platter from the Clam Bake Restaurant, as well as a loaded pie from Paras Pizza.

She is survived by her long-term partner, David Reed, her son Christopher Gallant and 2 grandsons Riley and Mayson Gallant. Her sister, Venus Gallant, and two brothers Lionel and John Gallant. Nieces Kara Clukey, Kaelynn and Everleigh Gallant and nephews Daniel Spooner Jr. and Robert Gallant. Life-long Friend Christopher Packard.

A celebration of life will be planned for Spring 2021.
