Portland, ME – Chad Allen Saucier, 42, of South Portland and formerly of Westbrook, died Friday, January 28, 2011, at Maine Medical Center after a brief illness.
Chad was born in Portland on September 25, 1968, a son of Raeanne M. (Doiron) Bayani of Mead, CO and the late Dennis Lowell Saucier, who died on February 19, 2002. He grew up in South Portland and graduated from South Portland High School as a member of the class of 1987.
Chad was self employed, working as a Drywall sub contractor. He enjoyed all types of survival games, especially paintball and was an avid reader, with Stephen King and Dean Koontz being two of his favorite authors.
Besides his mother Raeanne, he is survived by his brother Scott B. Saucier and his wife Stacie and their children Brandon and Chelsea of Portland, his sister Darcy-Jo M. Saucier of South Portland. He also leaves his significant other Michelle McMann of South Portland and his step son Nathan Smith of Jacksonville, FL and his mother Mary Kathleen Mooers of Portland.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass on Thursday, February 3, 2011 at 2 p.m. at St. Maximillian Kolbe Church, 150 Black Point Road, Scarborough.
Burial in Dow Cemetery, Standish will be private.
Arrangements are under the direction of Jones, Rich & Hutchins Funeral Home, 199 Woodford Street, Portland.
