Turner - Bruce B. MacDonald,SR,74, of Turner died Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at his home with his family by his side. Born in Lewiston June 2, 1939 a son of the late Edward & Lilla Bryant MacDonald he was educated in Auburn schools and graduated from E.L.H.S in the Class of 1957. He served in the U.S. Air Force.
Bruce was a member of the United Methodist Church of Auburn and was a former member of the Methodist Bell Ringers. He worked for over 30 years at Northeastern Refrigeration as a bookkeeper and then later at TD Bank.
He was a member of the Tranquil Lodge AF & AM, the Scottish Rite, and he was a charter member of the Kora Crazy Cops. He was also a Worthy Patron of the Dwinal Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.
He is survived by his wife, the former Pamela Carroll of Turner whom he married May 14, 1966. He is also survived by his son Bruce B. MacDonald Jr.
and his wife Dawn of Hanover, PA and his daughter Patricia Stone of Turner,and 5 grandchildren, Katie and Sean MacDonald, Carli, Ben and Cassidy Stone.
He is survived by his brother Edward MacDonald and wife Joyce of Poland and his sisters Charlene Pelletier and husband Lucien of Oxford and Jeannine Rogers of Lewiston, and sisters-in-law Connie Ray and husband Tom of Auburn and Deborah Picard and husband Bruce of Summerfield, FL
