With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Beverly Anne Phillips, who peacefully passed away at Hospice House in Auburn on March 15, 2025. Beverly was a cherished wife, mother, and grandmother, whose life immensely impacted the lives of countless individuals.
Born on April 4, 1962, in Skowhegan, Maine, Beverly is predeceased by her devoted husband, Ellery Phillips Sr., her parents, Brenda Salley and Virgil Salley Sr., and her two sisters, Arlene Salley and Esther Hernandez. She is survived by her five children: Shirley Phillips and her fiancé, Darryl Lewis, of Lewiston; Patrick Ducharme and his husband, Denis Ducharme, of Dixfield; Lisa Phillips of Rumford; Brenda Phillips and her fiancé, Kathy-Jo Jordan, of Pownal; and Ellery Phillips Jr., and his long-term partner, Mary Hughes, of Turner. She is also survived by her sister Dorothy Nguyen and her husband Thanh Nguyen of Lawrence, Massachusetts, her brother Virgil Salley Jr. and his wife Louise Salley of Mechanic Falls, as well as her four grandchildren whom she adored: Wyatt, Liam, Jennifer, and Michael, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Beverly dedicated her life to being a devoted wife and mother, not only to her own children but also to many over the years who sought a nurturing environment for their growth. Her unwavering kindness and willingness to assist those in need were unparalleled.
During the final weeks of her life, Beverly received exceptional care from four of her children, Lisa, Patrick, Brenda, Shirley, her son in law Denis and her niece Karrah, as well as the remarkable staff at Andwell Health Partners. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our entire support team for their invaluable assistance in making this difficult time a little more bearable.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
