
She was born in Portland the daughter of Antonio and Agnes Nelson Doria. She attended Portland Parochial Schools graduating Valedictorian from Cathedral High Class of 1951.
Anna was employed by the former New England Telephone Company for several years leaving to stay home to raise her family.
She was a communicant of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, a life time member of the Italian Heritage Center, a former member of the Board at Catherine Morrill Day Nursery, a member of the Falmouth Lioness Club, and a 30 year volunteer at Mercy Hospital.
Anna enjoyed family gathering's and was a devoted wife, mother & grandmother.
She is predeceased by her husband Carmine P. DiPietro in 2002.
She leaves 3 daughters; Deborah and her husband Jack Vallely of Cape Elizabeth, Lynda and her husband Drew Raincourt, Pam and her husband Ray Hale both of Falmouth, 3 Grandchildren;
Doria Vallely of Boston, John & Anna Vallely both of Cape Elizabeth.
There will be no visiting hours. Funeral service will be private. The family wishes to extend an invitation to join them for a Celebration of Anna's Life on Tuesday January 24, 2012 at 12 noon at the Italian Heritage Center, 40 Westland Ave, Portland.
