

Todd A. Weiland, 51, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family on Monday, October 20, 2014. He fought for two and a half years but ultimately lost his battle with cancer.
Todd grew up in Fanwood, New Jersey, where he made lifelong friendships and found a “home” forever. He graduated from Scotch Plains- Fanwood High School and went on to become a Police Officer in a local Municipality. After some years of public service, Todd returned to his love of carpentry and served the Town of Cranford. Upon his early retirement, he moved to St Lucie West, Florida to be close to his family.
Todd is preceded in death by his father, Robert L. Weiland and his mother, Sandra E. Weiland. He is survived by his second mom, Margarita D. Weiland, his sister, Holly Weiland- Valdez, niece, Francesca Weiland- Valdez, God-mother, Charlene Smith and several cousins, nieces and nephews and extended family in South America.
Visitation will be held at Fanwood Memorial Funeral Home on Sunday, October 26th from 6-8pm with services from the funeral home and interment at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield on Monday, October 27th.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospice of the Treasure Coast.
