Thomas Flett Sr. Passed away on Wednesday June 14, 2017 in the early morning hours amongst family at the Florida Hospital at Celebration in Kissimee Florida. Thomas and is wife, Patricia Flett(Davis), resided in Oswego, New York and for the last 29 years , Port. St. Lucie Florida.
Thomas was a businessman in many different adventures and investments. Thomas served in the United States Army as a door-gunner during the Vietnam era and awarded five metals during his short tour of duty. Thomas lived his life as a proud veteran and proud of his country.
Thomas was known in Oswego, New York as Tom “T” Clown and proudly lead the Oswego Clowns for many years visiting schools, hospitals and many special events making people smile and enjoy life.
In Port St. Lucie, Tom continued his work bringing magic and laughter to children who were diagnosed with life challenging illnesses and helped make their wishes come true. Tom also coached youth football and was a mentor and advocate for good times and laughter. Thomas carried a trick in every pocket and a joke to tell for every age.
Thomas is survived by is wife Patricia(Davis), two sons Anthony Flett, and Thomas Flett Jr, two step children, Garrett McNair and Deborah Powell. Thomas had four grandchildren, his flowers Madison Flett , McKenzie Flett , Taylor Powell and Josh Flett. Thomas had one great grandchild, Cooper Flett.
A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday June 21, 2017 from 6:00PM - 8:00PM at the Aycock Funeral Home, 1504 SE Floresta Drive, Port St. Lucie, FL 34983.
