It's hard to believe the last forty years went by so quickly and now your gone. We had fun working and playing music together. I will miss you and remember the good times first in lake worth and later here in port st. lucie. You allways said you were going to party for all the guys that never  made it back from viet nam and buddy you sure did. You were the right kind of marine, to the very end. Goodby old friend. Always a party, always a friend- Steve and I were almost "twins" and celebrated many birthdays at J. Giels concerts- BEFORE we even knew each other! We always teased - "NO, he came to town for MY birthday!"  30 years ago he walked in my bait shop and talked me into coming to see a friend's band. Several bands, relationships, bars, homes have passed since then.  The years that followed are full of happy times and happy memories of Steve. Fat Cat and the Mad Dogs, the old crew from Travis Moon, Merlins, Sneakers, El Cid, the studio rehearsals. We will all miss his sincere 'Man, glad to see you" as he really always was.
 "man, I really miss you" and always will.

I am sorry for the loss but now the pain and suffering is over and you are in a better place. Your wife Joann is a strong person and will get through this. It will be hard but, she can do it and will. I am sorry for her loss and to the loss of all the people that you had touch in your life.

My deepest condolences.  Steve you represented what old school rock-n-roll meant to me.  You were a great friend and an inspiration.  It was an honor to have you in the band for so long and made so many great memories that I shall take to my grave.  I regret not having seen you in so long but I always asked about you whenever I ran into some of our mutual friends.  I am shocked and saddened by not seeing your huge smile when we see one another.  Bless you and may God keep you in safe keeping.

I'm very sorry for your loss.I was friends with Steve a long time ago-played softball together& had a lot of the same friends.I haven't seen him in many years.I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

It seems like yesterday that you and the band were playing at the El Cid and Merlins, and I find it hard to believe it has been 10 years or better since Bob and I saw you.  I am glad that you found your Queen of Hearts!  Your long journey is now over and you will be in some of our fondest memories....
