Robert George Sticken

Robert George Sticken, 87, passed away peacefully at Treasure Coast Hospice on May 13, 2020. He was born on February 20, 1933 in Spring Valley IL. He graduated from Hall Township High & Vocational School in 1951 in Spring Valley. Robert was married in 1952 to Elsie Pauline (Beneventi). In 1970 the family moved to Florida where Robert spent the majority of his career at Motorola. During their 68 year marriage, Robert & Elsie had 3 children Susan, (William) Donna, & Robert (Pam) 4 grandchildren Vicki, Jason, Kelly, & Chris and one great grandchild (Emma). Upon early retirement from Motorola, Robert & Elsie relocated to Port St. Lucie FL. Robert's only sibling, a younger sister, Louise Lund, passed away in 2007. The same year his mother, Florence Sticken, passed away at the age of 92.

Robert enjoyed bowling, golfing, and the Chicago Cubs. He loved the Miami Dolphins, sweets (especially his granddaughter's snickerdoodles) and more than anything his family. He was a wise, kind man that was deeply loved by his family and will be greatly missed. Till we meet again in heaven.
