Born in West New York, NJ, Robert was a resident of Port St. Lucie, FL for 28 years, moving from Cliffside Park, NJ.
During the Korean War, he served in the US Marines, as Staff Sgt.
Prior to retirement, he was a Teamster Truck Driver for Dondee Trucking in Jersey City, NJ for 30 years.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Elizabeth (Budner) Sotkovsky; his first wife, Lorraine (Sanford) Sotkovsky, and son, Dennis Scarritt.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Joanna (Scarritt) Sotkovsky; daughter, Victoria Ferro and her husband Pat of Totowa, NJ and their daughters, Oriana and Olivia and son, Rurik; son, Mark Sotkovsky and his wife, Susan of Manahawkin, NJ and their son, Ryan and daughter Katie Gianni and her husband Robert; son Craig Sotkovsky and his wife, Nishi of Merida, Mexico and their daughter, Shreya; daughter, Janel Hart and her husband Ernie of Vero Beach, FL; son, David Scarritt of Port St. Lucie, FL; daughter, Jeanette Negro and her husband Patrick of Terryville, CT; daughter, Jennifer Moore and her husband Douglas of Port St. Lucie, FL, Nicole Sanders, Ashley Borenz, Danielle Negro, Sara Hawes, Christopher Scarritt, David Moore, Colby Moore; and great-grandchildren, Riley Borenz and Amollia Hawes. Also surviving are family, Dr. James & Regina Linder of Glen Rock, NJ, and their son Justin Linder and his wife, Jordana and their children; and son, Jared Linder and his wife Caitlin.

Visitation will be Friday, November 7, 2014 from 4:00PM-8:00PM at the Aycock Funeral Home, Port St. Lucie, FL, with a Prayer Vigil recited at 6:30PM.
A graveside Service will be Saturday, November 8, 2014, with inurnment at 10AM at Rolling Oaks Cemetery, Port St. Lucie, FL.
Arrangements are entrusted to Aycock Funeral Home, 1504 SE Floresta Drive, Port St. Lucie, FL.
