Bobby was a special guy, with an outgoing, quick-to-smile persona. He enjoyed life and people. Spending time with him was something his family and friends treasured. He loved to travel, meet new people and experience new things.
He spent his early life in New York, then moving to the west coast and finally landing in Florida. A natural problem solver, he enjoyed supporting his business clients and their transit related issues.
An avid hockey fan, his idea of a great time was sharing his love for the game and trying to convert anyone who would listen into becoming a fan of the sport. He was an unofficial hockey ambassador and all of us that knew him best heard all about his love of the Hartford Whalers and their history.
A bright light has suddenly gone out. He will be sorely missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
In lieu of flowers, consider extending an act of kindness in his name. It’s probably how he would best like to be remembered.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.aycockportstlucie.com for the FILAN family.
