He was born February 17, 1966 in Waterbury, CT where he attended schools and graduated high school.
Richard served in the US Navy on the USS Midway Aircraft Carrier during the Gulf War.
He was a member of the VFW, Moose Club and Knights of Columbus, 3rd Degree.
He is survived by his mother, Barbara Scheiner, of Prospect, CT; his son, Ricardo Reyes-Scheiner(Erica) and their children, Cristian, Travis and Ayana. Richard also leaves three sisters, Terri LaRosa (Tom) and their children, Heather and T.J., Tammy and Danny Mohor; Tina and Mik Daddona and their son Evan. He also leaves his companion, Nancy Bluette and of course his sidekick, Blu.
