Born in Bridgeport, CT on August 16, 1934, he was the son of the late Michael Boyko and Petrina Gyba Boyko.
He was a graduate of Stratford High School in Stratford, CT. Mike loved to drive, owning his own oil delivery business and was an owner operator in the trucking industry for many years. He enjoyed watching Hogan’s Heros and his family enjoyed watching him as he did. They will always treasure and remember his infectious laugh as he watched the show.
Mike was a true gentleman. He was lovingly devoted to all his family and especially to his wife Suzanne with whom he shared a beautiful and lasting love. Mike’s genuine goodness and kindness has touched the lives of many.
Mike will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his survivors who include his beloved wife of 55 yeasr, Suzanne Rose Costanzo Boyko; his son, Michael Boyko, Jr and his wife Jodi of Port St. Lucie, FL; his cherished grandson Michael Boyko, III; his two brothers, William Boyko and his wife Gail of Monroe, CT, Eugene Boyko of Beacon Falls, CT and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday, April 19, 2013 from 4-7PM at the Aycock Funeral Home, Port St. Lucie, FL, with a Prayer Service at 7:00PM.
A Funeral Mass will be Saturday, April 20, 2013, 11:30AM at St. lucie Catholic Church, Port St. Lucie, FL, with interment following at White City Cemetery, Ft. Pierce, FL.
