Marvin was born in Bayview , Virginia to William and Weary Clark. He moved to Florida in the early 1970’s from Cape Charles. Marvin served in the United States Army . He attended Morningside Church for sixteen years. He worked for many years as Area Manager for SGI –Signal Group Incorporated. He was known for his work ethic. He was devoted to his family and dedicated to his work. What ever task he was given,he did with perfection. Marvin enjoyed golfing, especially his twice a year week end trips to Sebring with his buddies. In his spare time , he would build custom cornhole boards. Marvin will forever be remembered for his humbleness and generosity always there to help family, friends, neighbors or co-workers who ever was in need. More than anything, Marvin cherished the time spent with his family and his two dogs, Oreo and Pandy. He enjoyed very much taking care of his yard and did it with perfection and it was noticed by all. He loved to donate at Christmas time by finding individuals in need and always gave to Toys For Tots.
Marvin was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Andrea “Andie” Clark; and sister, Elsie Milstead.
Survivors include his wife, Cindy Clark; many nieces and nephews; brothers, Johnny, Wayne “Gus”, and Louis Clark; and sisters, Jean Spence, Nancy Kara, and Joanne Bunting.
A gathering of friends and family will take place on Wednesday June 29, 2016 from 4-7 pm at Aycock Funeral Home 1504 SE Floresta Drive Port St. Lucie, Florida 34983. A Funeral Service will be held at Morningside Church on Thursday June 30, 2016 at 10 am with committal to follow at Fernhill Memorial Garden in Stuart, Florida.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Treasure Coast Hospice, 5000 Dunn Road, Fort Pierce, Florida 34981 or to Morningside Church Youth Missions , 2180 SE Morningside Blvd.
