Marie Lue Taffe

Born in Manchester, Jamaica, Marie relocated to Ft. Lauderdale, FL in 1974, where she lived until 1994 when she relocted to Port St. Lucie, FL.

Prior to retirement, Ms. Taffee worked as a Seamstress for the Broward County Hospital in Ft. Lauderdale, FL for 12 years.

She was a member of the 7th Day Adventist Church of Port St. Lucie, FL.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rupert Taffe, and daughter, Nona Taffe.

Survivors include five sons, Stephen Taffe of Atlanta, GA, Michael Taffe of Lauderhill, FL, Denzil Taffe of Woodbury, NY, Rupert Taffe of Rosedale, NY, Garfield Taffe of Los Angeles, CA; two daughters, Jennifer Clark of Mississauga, CA, Janet Saad of Indianapolis, IN; one step-daughter, Merl Ramsaroop of Miami, FL; one step-son, Donald Taffe of Canada; one brother, Glastor Ellis; 23 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, May 3, 2013, 6:00PM – 9:00PM at the Aycock Funeral Home, Port St. Lucie, FL.

A Funeral Service will be Saturday, May 5, 2013, 7:00PM at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Port St. Lucie, FL.

Burial will be Sunday, May 5, 2013, 11AM at Forest Lawn South Cemetery, Davie, FL.
