Marian Treu

Mrs. Treu worked for American Airlines; served in the U.S. Navy (WAVES) during World War II at the Main Navy Building in Washington, D.C. She retired from St. Lucie County Clerk of Courts office and was a volunteer at St. Anastasias, John Carroll and Francis K. Sweet magnet schools. Additionally, she and her late husband volunteered for Meals on Wheels. Marian and her husband had lovingly sponsored a child thru the Christian Children's Fund. She was a loving and generous wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.

She is predeceased by her husband of 58 years, William “Bill” Treu Sr. Survivors include daughters Barbara Gonnelli of Boca Raton, Florida, Jane Lee (Allen) Deltona, Florida and a son William L. (Denise) Treu, Jr. of Port St. Lucie, Florida; sister Dorothea Pringle of Montgomery AL.; and nine grandchildren, Nicole, William Paul, Allen Jr., Danielle, Ryan, Amanda, Erica, Matthew, William III and two great grandchildren Briana and Sophia.

A visitation will be held Friday August 27th from 6 – 8 PM at Aycock Funeral Home, Port St. Lucie. Graveside services will be Saturday August 28th 11:00 AM at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Ft. Pierce, Florida.
