Louis was born in Norwalk, Connecticut and moved to Fort Myers, Florida in 1978. He resided in Boynton Beach, Florida thereafter until moving to Fort Pierce, Florida in 2010. He recently relocated to Port St. Lucie. Louis enjoyed basketball. He played highschool basketball in Connecticut. He enjoyed going out to dinner and going to movies. He was family oriented and loved his grandchildren unconditionally. Louis was a music enthusiast and was a drummer in his younger years.
Louis was preceded in death by his mother, Arberzenia Lewis Bryan; father, Julius Eugean Bryan Sr.; and sister, Ruby May Peterson.
Survivors include his wife of 3 1/2 years, Rosalee Bryan; sister, Jewell Cooper (Ivory Sr.), of Fort Mitchell, Alabama; brothers, Richard Faison, of Whiteville, North Carolina and Julius E. Bryan Jr. (Ruby), of Columbus, Georgia, and James G. Peterson (Lulu Green), of Fort Myers, Florida.; daughter, Melissa Rivera; grandchildren, Dejuan Parker, Deja Parker, Tatyanna Powell, Stefan Hull, Amare Hull, and Isabella Rivera; step-children, Travis Ellis (Stephanie), Maurice Ellis, and Marquis Ponder (Amy); and step grandchildren, Travis Ellis Jr, Destiny Ellis, Alexis Ellis, Ariana Ellis, Ayanna Ellis, and Mahogany Ellis.
A Celebration of Louis’ life will take place on Wednesday January 24, 2018 from 1-4pm at Aycock Funeral Home, 1170 SW Bayshore Boulevard Port St. Lucie, Florida 34983.
