Joseph Herrera

Born on the island of Guam, he lived in Port St. Lucie for the past three years coming from Guam.

He was the Owner of Primo Joe’s Store in Guam.

Mr. Herrera served in the United States Marine Corp and proudly served our country during the Viet Nam War. He was a member of St. Lucie Catholic Church and the American Legion in Port St. Lucie.

He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Rosie; sons Joseph Herrera and his wife Darlene of Tampa, FL, Jonathon D. Herrera of Port St. Lucie, FL; parents Jesus and Margariata Herrera of Washington; grandchildren, Rico, Maricia, Jonathan, Jr. and Leilani; brothers Jesse, Bill, Jerry, Eugene and Kenny; and sister Marlene Delmundo.

He is predeceased by his sister Alicia Scroggs.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 from 5:00 to 700 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm at Aycock Funeral Home in Port St. Lucie, FL. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, June 28, 2012 at 11:00 am at St. Lucie Catholic Church.
