John McLawhorn

Born in Greenville, North Carolina, John was a resident of Port St. Lucie, FL for 19 years, moving from Brooklyn, NY.

Prior to retirement, Mr. McLawhorn was a Machine Operator for Joseph Aernauen Company in Brooklyn, NY for 32 years.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, William, Charlie, and Henry, and two sisters, Lillie and Annie Ruth.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Rosetta McLawhorn of Port St. Lucie, FL; three children Janet Miller and husband Matthew of Port St. Lucie, FL, Darryl McLawhorn and wife Sharon of Bayside, NY, Renee Dixon and husband Keith of Port St. Lucie, FL; thirteen grandchildren, Dana, Christina, Quenton, Derra, Freddie, Codie, Devin, Derrick, Gina, Madric, Diamond, Sharaay , Shayanne; nine great-grandchildren; one brother Jimmie McLawhorn and two sisters, Queenie May and Rosalee Tuten.

Friends and relatives may call Friday, August 19, 2011 from 10:00AM – 11:00AM at the Aycock Funeral Home Chapel in Port St. Lucie, FL. A Funeral Service will follow Friday, August 19, 2011 at 11:00AM.

Interment will be at Rolling Oaks Cemetery, Port St. Lucie, FL.
