Janet Elizabeth Perrone, 77 was granted her angel wings on February 14, 2021. In her final days she spent time surrounded by her loving family and extended family that she had touched in so many ways throughout her very memorable life.
Janet was born April 14, 1943 in Mount Vernon New York to Frank John and Margaret Ciampi Limiero.
Janet met her late husband Santino Perrone in New York where they fell in love and were married in 1967. They moved to Florida in 1982 to start up their own business. After a great deal of time they sold the business. Janet stayed home before deciding to be a bookkeeper at a florist. When finding out her husband had cancer she retired to be a caregiver for him. After losing him she did not return back to work. She then cared for her mother and father. After they passed Janet was able to enjoy time for herself. She was surrounded by her children and grandchildren, extended family and friends. Janet touched many people’s lives. People felt a sense of warmth and motherly care that made her an extraordinary human. She cared so deeply for so many. She made everyone feel like family. She was a true gem.
She is survived by her brother, Frank John Limiero; daughter, Danielle Sammler and husband Craig Sammler; stepson, Michael Perrone and wife Andrea Perrone; stepdaughter, Mary Palmitessa and husband John Palmitessa; stepson, Rick Perrone and extended family, Raymond Sammler and Rebecca Sammler.
Grandchildren Jasmine, Layla, Railynn, Vanessa, Mikey, Dean, Cody, Santino, Levi, Tracy, Marcus and Ashley, 13 great grandchildren and one grand-pet, Triton.
Services will be held Sunday, February 21, 2021 from 2pm to 4pm at Aycock Funeral home 1504 SE Floresta Dr., Port Saint Lucie Florida. Mass will be held at St. Lucie Catholic Church Monday, February 22, 2021 at 11am. Burial will be held at Forest Hills in Palm City immediately after. Pallbearers will be Craig Sammler, Raymond Sammler, Michael Perrone, Dean Perrone, Cody Perrone and Santino Perrone. A reception will be held at Janet’s home.
