Jane M Ryan

Jane was born in Glassboro, New Jersey to Emerson and Isabel Ware. She moved to Port St. Lucie in 1968 from Glassboro. Jane graduated as Valedictorian of her class at Glassboro High School in 1949. She was active in The National Honor Society. She went to Camden Commercial School in 1950. Jane owned and operated The Primavista Mobile Service Station for 15 years and worked as a bookkeeper for Cornelius, Johnson, and Clark Insurance Company in Stuart, Florida for 21 years. Jane was active at Calvary Baptist Church for many years, and was a member of the travelling music ministry, Calvary Echo’s Band. She excelled as a pianist. The band went on to be acknowledged as a Jefferson Public Service Award recipient. Jane was also devoted to her family and her pets, especially her dogs. She was a great caretaker and appreciated doing arts and craft projects. Prior to her husband, Harry’s passing she spent a lot of time travelling throughout the United States.

Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Ryan in 2009; brother, Bert Ware; and close family friends, Frank McDavid and Fred and Helen Weingartner.

Survivors include sons, Gary Ryan (Mary), of Vero Beach, Florida and James Ryan, of Port St. Lucie; daughter, June McDavid (Ken), of Port St. Lucie; daughter-in-law, Kerri Ryan; 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sister, Betty Enzman (John), of New Jersey; brother, David Ware (Gloria), of New Jersey; sister-in-law, Fran Ware; close family friend, Martha McDavid; along with cousins, Beach and Pat Brooks and Rich and Polly Brooks.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11 am on Friday, May 13, 2016 at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Fort Pierce, Florida.
