September 15, 2023. James (Jim) was born in Nashville, GA having moved to Martin County, Florida in
1952.
He was owner-operator of Indian River Flowers, Inc. in Hobe Sound. Growing flowers was his passion after his devotion to the Lord and his family. He was devoted to his Lord, Jesus Christ, having been a member of Hahira Church of God and at the time of his passing, Family Worship Center.
He was known as Daddy, Dad, Pops, Papa, Old Papa, Bill Jack and Brother Jim to many. He will never be forgotten and will be missed more than words can ever say. He is predeceased by his wife Louise Harnage (2018), his daughter Wanda, sisters Shirley Harnage and Rudell Spivey, and brothers, Leland Harnage, L.C. Harnage and Murray Harnage. He is survived by his daughter Debi Schulte and husband, Don and his son, James G. Harnage (Carol), his grandchildren, Don Schulte (Valerie), Dustin Schulte (Randi), Devon Granda (Luis), Bobbie Sears (Lonnie) Billie English (Mark) Shannon Prieto (Rocky) as well as his sister, Idell Register of Hahira, GA and 17 great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Fernhill Memorial Gardens, 1501 S. Kanner Highway, Stuart, FL 34994.
