Born in Cumberland, MD, James was a resident of Port St. Lucie, FL for 12 years, moving from Grosse Isle, MI.
Prior to retirement, Mr. Hager was a Purchasing Agent for Ford Motor Co. in Dearborn, MI for 32 years.
He was a member of the PGA Country Club of Port St. Lucie, FL.
Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Carol Hager of Port St. Lucie, FL; one son, Dennis Martin Hager of Pleasanton, CA; two granddaughters, Madeline Hager, Cassidy Hager; and one grandson, Jackson Hager.
Services will be at a later date in San Francisco, CA.
