Jack W Luke

Jack served his country with honor in the United States Army from May 13, 1974, to May 12, 1977, as an E-4 Organization Supply Specialist and Sharp Shooter. His final tour was in Germany, where he proudly served his fellow soldiers. His commitment to service extended beyond his military career into many aspects of his life.

Throughout most of his career, Jack worked as a skilled carpenter in Florida, a trade he continued after spending some years in New Jersey. In addition to his work as a carpenter, Jack served in emergency management, including hazardous materials handling, in Neptune, New Jersey. He also had a passion for teaching, working as a roller skate and dance instructor, and sharing his love for music as a DJ.

Jack was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, hunting, deep-sea diving, and gardening. He was a gifted cook, known for his ability to prepare delicious meals, occasionally using bacon fat, his specialty macaroni salad & sausage gravy brought family and friends together. Most importantly, Jack’s legacy will be remembered for the love and guidance he provided to the many children he cared for, always offering shelter, wisdom, and compassion to those in need.

Jack’s memory will live on through the lives he touched and the love he gave to his family and friends. He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

A celebration of life for Jack will be held Sunday, January 12, 2025 from 10:00 AM TO 2:00 PM with a service at 2:00 PM at Aycock Funeral Home, 1504 Southeast Floresta Drive, Port St. Lucie, FL 34983.
