Helen F. Ostensen

Born in Brooklyn, NY, Helen was a resident of Port St. Lucie for 24 years, moving from Valley Stream, NY.

Prior to retirement, Mrs. Ostensen worked for the Bank of New York in Valley Stream, NY for 22 years.

She was a member of the Sons of Norway, and a former volunteer for the Port St. Lucie Hospital Auxiliary for many years.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband John Ostensen in 1993.

Survivors include one daughter, Karen Slevinski and husband Stanley of Valley Stream, NY; two sons, Robert Ostensen and J. Gary Ostensen, both of Port St. Lucie, FL; one brother, Rodney Pearson of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; seven grandchildren, Erika Ostensen, Jennifer Marano, Justin Ostensen, Tara Carter, Keith Slevinski, Jaclyn Slevinski, Nicole Siscaretti; four great-grandchildren, Jessica Marano, Casper Carter, Clayton Carter and Emma Ostensen.

A Visitation will be Saturday, May 26, 2012 from 2:00PM-5:00PM at the Aycock Funeral home in Port St. Lucie, FL
