Mr. Zimmerman was preceded in death by his loving wife, Dorcas, son, David, and grandson, Charlie. He is survived by his daughter, Karen Venturo, and her husband, Joe; granddaughters, Jaclyn and Danielle Venturo, and Robin Palo great grandchildren, Kayla and Kyler; brother, Wayne Zimmerman, and many other loving family members and friends.
Mr. Zimmerman was a veteran of the United States Navy and a member of the Masonic Order. He retired from the City of Port St. Lucie, Public Works Department.

Visitation will be held 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 15, at Aycock Funeral Home, 1504 SE Floresta Drive, Port St. Lucie, FL 34983, where funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Friday, June 16. Interment will follow at Fernhill Memorial Gardens in Stuart, Florida.
