Gerald R. Verr

Born in Chicago, IL, Gerald was a resident of Port St. Lucie, FL for 8 years, moving from Chicago.

During the Korean Conflict, Mr. Verr served in the US Coast Guard.

Prior to retirement, he was a Stock Broker for Rodman & Renshaw in Chcago, IL for 30 years.

Mr. Verr was a member of the Port St. Lucie Christian Church in Port St. Luycie, FL.

Gerald was a member of the PGA Golf Club and Legacy Hall Club of Port St. Lucie, FL; and member of Timber Trails in Chicago, IL.

He was preceded in death by a son, Christopher "Chip" Verr, and one brother, Robert Verr.

Survivors include his wife, Chris Verr of Port St. Lucie, FL; four sons, Steven Verr and his wife Karen of McHenry, IL, Mark Fitzgerald Verr of Berwyn, IL, Vincent Michael Verr of Venice, CA, Daniel Verr and his wife Krista of Villa Park, IL; one granddaughter, Natalie Rose Verr, one grandson, Andrew Verr; one brother, Raymond Verr of Arizona, and one sister, Carol O'Connor of Verwyn, IL.

A Memorial Service will be Saturday, March 8, 2014, 2:00PM at the Port St. Lucie Christian Church, Port St. Lucie, FL

Memorial contributions may be made to the Port St. Lucie Christian Church Youth Fund, 1420 SE Floresta Drive, Port St. Lucie, FL.
