Born in Indiana, Pennsylvania, he recently moved to Port St. Lucie coming from Wheeling West Virginia.
Mr. Madrid was a coal miner for Consolidation Coal Company, McElroy Mines, in Moundsville, WV for 30 years.
He was a veteran of the Air Force serving his Country during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Praise Family Worship Center in Glen Dale West Virginia and also a member of the VFW.
He is survived by his wife Joyce A. Madrid; sons, Edward Madrid and his wife Billie Jo of Port St. Lucie, FL, Steven Madrid and his wife Heather of Panama City, FL; brothers Gary and his wife Kathy of Wheeling, WV, Vernon and his wife Salvina of Fayetteville, NC; sisters, Carolyn Schmidli and her husband John of Bellaire, Ohio, Janice McGuire and her husband Christopher of Wheeling, WV; and, four grandchildren, Nicholas, Andrew, Kingston and Israel; and his dog Mo.
Services for Mr. Madrid will be held at South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, FL a later date.
