Mr. Sheriff was preceded in death by his daughter, Bonnie Comerford, and sister, Beverly Ann May. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Joan Sheriff; daughters, Kathy Lovell, Joanne Haley, and Jacqueline Harris; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; brothers, Albert Sheriff and Matthew Sheriff; and many other loving family members and friends.
Mr. Sheriff was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was a wonderful man who loved God and his family.
Visitation will be held 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 27, at Aycock Funeral Home, 1504 SE Floresta Drive, Port St. Lucie, FL 34983. Funeral Mass will be held 11 a.m. Friday, April 28, at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 350 NW California Blvd, Port St. Lucie, FL 34986.
Interment will follow at a later date at Sarasota National Cemetery in Sarasota, FL.
