Elpidia Francois is survived by her 7 Children Rhode Camille, Claude Camille, Carmel Duplan, Labranche Francois, Maggy Francois, Patrick Francois and Magalie Francois. 23 Grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 niece.
Elpidia Francois was born to the late Lectine Camille and Lucie Duval on December 15,1929. In Archaie, Haiti. She received her wings on October 5, 2022. Lajoie was a woman of faith and received Christ early on in her life. She followed the Catholic faith and always made sure her family did the same.
In 1980 Elpidia migrated from Haiti to Norwalk, CT. Soon after she sent all her 7 kids and 1 niece to the United States by herself. Lajoie will always be remembered as a strong, resilient, hard-working person. In addition to living in CT she also spent a lot of time in Orlando and Port St Lucie, Florida. She was primarily cared for by her daughter Carmel Duplan through her final moments in Port St Lucie.
Elpidia will always be remembered for being a strong, loving and giving individual. Her memory is a keepsake in our hearts forever. God has you in his arms, but we have you in are hearts.
