Ellie Donoian

She was an intelligent, kind, compassionate, fun-loving and creative person who was dearly loved by her family and friends.

Ellie was born to George and Christine Leodakis, both of whom are now deceased. She grew up in Buffalo, NY and later moved to East Northport, NY on Long Island. She graduated from Northport High School. Ellie completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She moved to Florida in 1980. For the past 20 years she has worked in the Florida Department of Children and Families.

Ellis is survived by two sons, Matthew and Jameson Donoian; her sister, Irene Hannigan; brother-in-law, Bob; nephew Ted; and Lisa Fiqueroa, her best friend with whom she resided in recent years and who cared for her tirelessly until the time of her death.

A Celebration of Ellie's life will be held on Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at 1:00PM at the Aycock Funeral Home, 1504 SE Floresta Drive, Port St. Lucie, FL.
