Born in Arkville, NY, Donald was a resident of Port St. Lucie since 1995, moving from Margaretville, NY.
During the Korean Conflict, Mr. Finch served in the US Army.
Prior to retirement, he owned a masonry construction company in Margaretville, NY for over 25 years.
Donald was a member of the Faith Congregation Church in Port St. Lucie, FL. He was a member of the Mason Lodge #389 in Margaretville, NY, as well as the American Legion Post #216.in NY. He was a volunteer for the Margaretville Fire Department in Margaretville, NY, and Port St. Lucie Police Department COP (Citizens on Patrol). He was also a Board Member of the Park’s Edge Homeowner’s Association in Port St. Lucie, FL.
He was predeceased by three brothers, Floyd, Clayton, Edward Finch, and one sister Delores.
Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Sandy Finch of Port St. Lucie, FL; three daughters, Sandy Zarcone and husband Matty of Springhill, FL, Michele Faconti of Port St. Lucie, FL, Marcella Bianco and husband Louis of Port St. Lucie, FL; four sons, Paul Finch of Queensburg, NY, Allen Finch and wife Terri of Margaretville, NY, James Finch of Lyons, NY, Matthew Konopka of Long Island, NY; 10 grandchildren, Amanda, Jamie, Michael, Kyle, Victor, Nicole, Victoria, PJ, Patrick, Jonathan; and 4 great-grandchildren, Malachai, Nateah, Khloe, and Layken.
A Memorial Service will be Friday, February 3, 2012, 1:00PM at Faith Congregation Church in Port St. Lucie, FL.
