Charles C. Stewart, 93, of Port St. Lucie passed away surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, October 29, 2017 at Tradition Medical Center. He was born in Clarksburg, West Virginia. He had been a resident of Port St. Lucie for the past thirty years coming from Teaneck, New Jersey. Charles served in the United States Coast Guard during World War II. Survivors include his loving wife of 3 years, Digna E. Stewart; son, Bobby Stewart; daughter, Roberta Queen; one stepdaughter, Monica and her husband Godo LaBarthe and three grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am -1:00 pm, Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Aycock FH-Byrd, Young & Prill Chapel, 1170 SW Bayshore Blvd, Port St. Lucie, FL 34983. A Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm, Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Aycock FH-Byrd, Young & Prill Chapel, 1170 SW Bayshore Blvd, Port St. Lucie, FL 34983. Entombment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Garden in Ft. Pierce, FL.
