Catherine Salvatore

Catherine was born in Newark, New Jersey to the late Michael and Margaret Brango (Verdicchio). In 1991 she moved to Port St. Lucie from Clark, New Jersey. Catherine was an avid reader and enjoyed a good romance novel. She will be missed for her fantastic cooking and her loving demeanor. Catherine was family oriented and would do anything for those she loved. In her spare time, Catherine enjoyed watching The Family Feud. It would make her laugh.

Catherine was preceded in death by 11 siblings. She was the last of 12.

Survivors include her husband of 69 years, Peter Salvatore; daughters, Joanne Frost (William), of Port St. Lucie and Arlene Occhipinti (Charles), of East Meadow, New York; along with grandchildren, Charles Occhipinti, Lauren Occhipinti, and Caitlin Frost.

A visitation will take Tuesday July 9, 2019 from 9:30-10:30 am at Aycock Funeral Home, 1504 SE Floresta Drive Port St. Lucie, 34983. A Mass will follow at 11 am at St. Lucie Catholic Church, 280 SW Prima Vista Avenue Port St. Lucie, Florida 34983.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Lucie Catholic Church, 425 SW Irving Street Port St. Lucie, Florida 34983.
