Carl was born in Claremont, Virginia to the late Clarence and Hulda Miller. He worked for many years at Norfolk Naval Air Station in Virginia as a Jet Electrician. In 2013 he relocated from Claremont to Florida to be closer to family. Carl enjoyed gardening and being a handy man fixing things around the house. He was an avid fisherman and was a dedicated Christian.
Carl was preceded in death by his brothers, Calvin Miller and Ray Miller, who passed away during WWII; and sister , Helen Smith.
Survivors include his wife of 70 years, Polly Miller; son, Ben Miller (Roberta), of Manitoba Canada; daughters, Judy Campagnola (Larry), of Port St. Lucie and Patricia Snoots (Robert), of Leesburg, Florida; grandchildren, Julie, Laura, Michelle, Michelle Ann, Angela, and Paul; great grandchildren, Daniel and Michael; and sister Hazel Williams.
Military Honors and Committal Prayer Services will take place Wednesday May 2, 2018 at 11:15 am at South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, Florida.
