I knew we would be best friends from the first time I saw you.  I requested you off from work for my birthday in I think 2004-ish and we were inseparable everyday since. I’ve spent so many years with you creating the most amazing memories any one human could ever imagine. All of the places of the earth that we have touched and memories we have made, one could only dream of.  There’s not a day that goes by that I don’t think of you and will forever spend the rest of my days telling my son our stories. Well the PG rated ones lol forever Rest In Peace my Angel xoxo

I met Ashlee many years ago. We had been in and out of touch over the years. She often crosses my mind and I reach out. I wonder why I never heard from her. To her family and friends, I am so sorry for your loss. Even though it has been years, Im sure its not easy and wish I would have found out sooner that she was gone. She was a great friend and I always enjoyed our long talks and her laugh.

When I first met Rae, I felt I have known her for years.  Her openness, friendly demeanor and genuine loving attitude is such that you instantly feel a level of comfort you feel with close friends.  There is only so much I can say in a small amount of space but Rae was and is an amazing woman and has forever touched my heart.

7 years we were a part of each other's life, good times and bad. I was saddened to hear this news. You were an amazing person and it was a honor to have known you. You will be missed....

Wow I just saw this and I am so deveistated. I was always amazed by her and proud to have known her. I will never forget her energy and excitment for life.

I missed you. You stopped texting back and I didn't know why. I imagined you had your reasons, I never thought...I missed you so I googled you like a total stalker. i didn't know. I had the pleasure of having Ashlee as a student in two of my classes at WyoTech.  She was a wonderful person to be around.  Ashlee really had a passion for automotive and a zest for life.  She was always smiling and had a great attitude.  I am confident that she touched many people's lives and will be missed by all.

I travel PSL everyday and cross morningside where Ashley died. I always say a prayer for her as I go under the light there, she will always be in my heart.

Rae as I knew her , here in San Diego was a good soul and person. She will and is missed. Thank you for being a friend.

Very sad! Such a beautiful young lady! My brother and I were traveling down PSL Blvd shortly after the tragic accident. We sat in silence as we waited to pass and for several minutes after...I said a silent prayer fighting back the tears! A sweet life taken to soon! May Ashlee rest in peace!

Ashlee was one of the most amazing and untamed person I have ever met. We dated when we were 18 born a few days apart and almost convinced me to abandon all in my life and follow her around the world. She was the most beautiful person I have ever known and fiercely loyal friend. She was never afraid to try new things and experienced more in her short life then most people would in 2 lifetimes. Our lovely Ashlee was taken away so suddenly.  Watching her grow into the wonderful, introspective woman she had become has given me some peace.  Her accomplishments in such a short life are to be honored.
