William H. Preston, Jr.

William Hunter Preston, Jr., 77, of Port Orange, FL died peacefully on June 10th of congestive heart failure. Born in Philadelphia to William & Anna Preston, Bill was raised in Roxborough, Pennsylvania. He was an excellent basketball and football player in high school, obtaining a full scholarship to West Chester State College. Bill was a member of the US Air Force and loved hunting and fishing. Upon his retirement from Glaziers Union 252 in Philadelphia, the family moved to Port Orange.

Bill is survived by his wife, Marilyn Preston; stepson, Sean Coggins, of Daytona Beach FL; son, Jeffrey (Martina) Preston of Willow Grove, PA; daughter, Jennifer Preston of Portland, ME and two grandchildren. Also surviving are four sisters: June Palmer of Philadelphia, PA, Martha Angell of Chesapeake City, MD, Andora (Lee) Simms of Upper Gwynedd, PA and Kathryn Kopczynski of Philadelphia, PA, and many nieces and nephews.
