Richard "Scott" Lindsay, 81, of Port Orange, FL, passed away on January 24, 2025, at Halifax Medical Center, Daytona Beach, FL.
Born February 24, 1943, in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of the late Ida M. (Merrill) Cahoe and step-son of the late James L. Cahoe.
Scott was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving for six (6) years. He was a businessman who brought, renovated, rented, and sold property as well as owned and operated a laundromat for 29 years with his wife, Po. Scott loved music since he was a young boy. While in the service, he performed in the USO show with Bob Hope. After leaving the service, he continued playing drums, guitar and singing in numerous places in Daytona Beach.
Surviving family is his beloved wife, Po (Pinkle), married 59 years, living in Port Orange; three(3) sisters Beverly J. Bennett of Chambersburg, PA; Dolores M. Monn and husband William of Greencastle, PA; Cynthia J. Shatzer and husband Van of Chambersburg, PA; as well as numerous nieces and nephews in PA.
