Mary Louise Schaefer

Mary Louise Schaefer passed away surrounded by her family on Thursday November 10, 2011 at the Hospice of Volusia Flagler Port Orange Care Center. Mary Louise was born in East Meadow New York on October 5, 1942 daughter of the late Estelle (Burris) and Joseph Eberius. She was the beloved wife of Walter Thomas Schaefer who passed away on December 23, 2010. She was the past president of the American Legion Aux Post 53 and a member of the Red Hat Society. The loving mother of Kevin Schaefer (Patti) of Montello WI, and Tracy Cowell (Dave Stone) of Longwood devoted grandmother of Brandon, Scott, Derek, Shawn, Keith, Kristopher, Nathan and Zackary; dear sister of Wayne and JoAnn and sister –in-law Theresa, Rick, Chris and Denise. Family and friends will gather at the Crane Lakes Saturday November 19, 2011 at 3:30 PM she will be buried with her husband in Florida National Cemetery Monday November 21, 2011 at 1:00 PM. Donations may be made in her memory to Hospice of Volusia/Flagler 3800 Woodbirer Circle Port Orange 32129 or the Pancreatic Cancer Society.
