He is lovingly remembered by his wife Shannan, his children Erica, Jordan, and Dusty, grandchildren Fletcher, Harrison, and Oliver, siblings Nancy and Rich, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and pets that love him dearly.
He was born on December 24, 1955 in Pasadena California, and lived the majority of his life and raised his family in Southern California before moving to Florida in 2015. He and family had a 10 acre horse ranch in Murrieta California for many years. He spent most of his hard-working career at Hudson RCI and Teleflex Medical, where he held various leadership roles in R&D and marketing and valued his work family immensely. Over the years he achieved several patents in his name. For the past 5 years, he and Shannan have also been business owners and community members with the Blue Coast Shop in Daytona Beach Shores.
Marc was a devoted family man and lived each day wondering how he could make his loved ones’ lives better. In his mind, there was no better way to spend a day than on an adventure with his family. He loved coaching his sons’ baseball teams and watching his kids play sports. His passions included snow skiing, surfing, cooking, traveling, biking, wood-working, relaxing on the beach, and enjoying the outdoors. He was a smart problem solver, and it was common for family and friends to seek his perspective and advice in many areas of life.
His legacy will be carried on by his family, and he will be missed by many who will always remember to #LivelikeD.
Celebrations of Life honoring him will be held in both Florida and California in the coming weeks and months, details to be determined.
