Loretta L. Maloney

Loretta Lillian Grossman Maloney was born on May 20, 1938 in Winter Haven, Florida.  She was the first child of Alvin Hester Grossman and Mary Johns Grossman.  Loretta had one younger brother Ted. Loretta spent her childhood in Winter Haven and Lakeland, Florida before the family moved to Jackson, South Carolina when she was 13. Her family moved back to Florida when Loretta was 17 and settled in Orlando.  Loretta graduated in 1956 from Edgewater High School.

In 1959, Loretta married the love of her life, Paul.  They were married for 62 years and raised two children, Dianne and Rick. Loretta has 8 grandchildren -Taylor,(Nick), Justin, Luke, Michael, Hannah, Sam, Bailey and Drew. Also, 1 great grandchild, Jace. Loretta entered heaven and was reunited with her parents and her brother on July 26,2021.

Friends and family will gather together from 11am – 12pm for a visitation Saturday, July 31, 2021 at Ascension Lutheran Church, 351 Ascension Drive, Casselberry, FL 32707.  A Funeral Service and Celebration of Loretta’s Life and Legacy will begin at 12pm, with a reception to follow. Interment will be private at Glen Haven Memorial Park, Winter Park FL.
