

Linda Haynes Crisp, age 67, of Ormond Beach, best friend and beloved wife of 46 years to Ron died peacefully at home on Tuesday, March 3, 2015. She was born on September 20, 1947, in Sebring, FL to Bill and Marjorie Young Haynes. She was preceded in death by her parents Bill and Margie and is survived by her loving family, husband Ron, daughter Angie Stocker (Eric) of Cincinnati, OH, brother Ken Haynes (Joyce) of Sebring, FL, two grandchildren Bree Stocker and Cameron Stocker of Cincinnati, OH and many nieces and nephews.
Linda began her career with Consolidated Tomoka Land Co in 1976 as a Receptionist. She moved to Ormond Beach in 1985 with Consolidated and retired December 2014 as Vice President and Corporate Secretary after 38 years. Linda was an icon to the Daytona Beach community and positively touched many lives dedicating herself to community service. She served several leadership positions with Junior Women's League in Sebring, FL, Quota Club and the United Way both of Daytona Beach. For the past 13 years, she has been an active member of the Daytona Beach West Rotary Club, holding multiple leadership positions including past President. Her passion was helping others through mentoring, fundraising, laying mulch, painting community buildings, etc. No job was too big or too small!
Services will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Volusia Memorial, 4815 Clyde Morris Blvd, Port Orange. The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm with services beginning at 3pm. There will be a reception to follow at LPGA, 1000 Champions Drive, Daytona Beach.
