John is survived by his wife Karen of 18 years, sons Eric Hosford (Regina), Ian Hosford (Lindsey), Daren Hosford, Jason Hosford, and 10 grandchildren. John was preceded in death by his parents John and Marion and twin brother George. John was a loving father, husband, grandfather, and friend. He never met a stranger and was loved by many.
John was an Army veteran who loved NASCAR, old cars, and holidays, especially Christmas. He worked as a paint contractor with his twin brother for over 50 years.
A special thank you to Vitas Hospice for their loving care and support during his final days. In lieu of flowers donations in John's name can be made to Vitas Hospice or the Alzheimer's Association.
A Memorial Service will be held at Shannon Maloney Funeral Home, 4084 Halifax Drive, Port Orange on December 29, 2018 at 1:00 PM.
