Dear Brother,
I am sorry both our hearts were broken that day.  So, so very sorry for my part in that pain.  Sorry I could no longer play your “smoke and mirrors” game.  Never really understood why you thought you needed to play it.  You were always a “giant” in my eyes.  Sir Isaac Newton said, “If I have seen a little further it is standing on the shoulders of giants.”  You always kept me guessing, always surprised by what you saw up there.
I miss your “big” heart, that mischievous grin, your silly laughter, your “Hello, Sunshine”, our talks, I miss you; I’ve missed you for quite a while.  If someone asked me where I was on 9/11, I would say Jack and I were on the phone as he described to me each terrifying event.  We somehow navigated our way through the ups and downs of life from losing our endearing pets, to grandpa and grandma’s passing, my divorce, the fire, mom’s death, aunts and uncles passing, dad’s passing was rocky not to mention the last year and half with only texts and voice messages but for the most part of 62 years you were a part of my life.  More happy memories, than not, and many pictures.  Thanks for sharing your life with me.  Will say, it was quite a roller coaster ride, but not seeing you ride anything else.  Have no doubt by now you are already off on your next adventure; so see you later, Kiddo!

To the family of Jack Hanson.  I only just heard today about his passing.  Needless to say I"m in such shock.  Jack was a good friend, colleague  and had a wonderful heart.  I'll always remember all the times I shared with him and his family.  He was successful in everything he did.   Rest in peace my friend.  You will always be in my heart.   Yvonne
