Donald M. Malon, age 78, of Port Orange, Florida, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, December 28, 2024. Don was born to Pauline and Elmer Malon of Lake Elmo, Minnesota, on May 30, 1946. He went to Vietnam shortly after graduating from high school and served in the Vietnam War as a helicopter mechanic. In Vietnam he met his wife Ann. Ann and Don had four children Hai, Amanda, Judy, and Andy along with five grandchildren Christina, Christian, Samara, Jorge and Juan. Don owned a full service gas station in Stillwater, Minnesota, for many years. In 1992, Ann and Don moved to Port Orange, Florida where he worked as an automotive mechanic and then later retired. Don is remembered as a kind man who enjoyed gardening, movies, reading and giving gifts. Thank you for your love and concern for Don and his family.
