Courtney Marie Antrum, age 31, passed away on Wednesday, September 16, at Advent Hospital, Daytona Beach. Courtney was born to Jude Antrum and Nichole Shotwell in Springfield, Massachusetts. She moved to Daytona Beach as a small child where she spent most of her life. She graduated from Seabreeze High School in 2007. Courtney had many passions, she loved to write, she loved her super heroes (Batman was her favorite), anime, unicorns, and anything that sparkled. However, her greatest passion was her love for animals. If she could take all the stray animals home with her, she would. She had a contagious laugh and a great sense of humor making light of the simplest things. Her friends would always make her laugh by saying "Naners" instead of Bananas, their inside joke. She was a light, brightening the lives of those who were around her.
You can honor her life by donating to the Humane Society in memory of Courtney Antrum.
