Benjamin Miller, 90, passed away peacefully at his residence in Port Orange, FL on Memorial Day May 28, 2012. Benjamin completed some of his high school education before being drafted in the US Army during WWII. In the service to his country, he received the following citations: American Defense Service Medal, Asiatic Pacific Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Presidential Unit Citation and WWII Victory Medal. In his professional life, he worked for 20 years as a doorman for the Casablanca Hotel and the Roney Plaza Hotel in Miami Beach, Fl. He also worked as a Volusia County Toll taker for 12 years until his retirement at age 80. He is survived by his devoted wife of 45 years, Martha P. Miller and his son, William B. Miller.
